'It Starts With Their Defense'

KYW Newsradio on Philadelphia recaps the Lafayette game and looks ahead to the Dartmouth game with Penn coach Ray Priore here:

Here's a quick look at what Priore had to say when asked what makes Dartmouth go:
"I think it starts with their defense. Very, very sound defense. Strong up front. They dare you to make a mistake. Go for the big things, get you off schedule and then they have real, real talented kids in the second and third level as well. On offense, it reminds me of the old Wing-T. A lot of motion, a lot of shifting, trading, really takes you off point. They are making big plays. That's their play-action game, boot game, really establishes their big play opportunities. So the key here is really to play sound football on both sides of the ball."
I saw this in print a month ago but as far as I can tell a Dartmouth Review Q&A with Big Green coach Buddy Teevens just made its way to the internet. The information is dated but it's work taking a look at HERE.
Given that the Penn game is on Friday, the final practice before Penn will held this afternoon on Memorial Field. As always, BGA will be there and have a posting tonight HERE. Last night's story took a look with coach Duane Brooks at his overpowering Dartmouth defensive line.
