SUNday

WROC News 8 in Rochester, N.Y., has a piece on former Dartmouth quarterback Jared Gerbino and his NFL hopes:

California's Palisadian-Post had a story this week about Hanover-bound tight end Jack Dyett under the headline, Dyett Muscles Up for Dartmouth. (LINK)

The 6-foot-5 Dyett, who grabbed 49 catches last fall at 210 pounds, has built himself up to 230 pounds. Check out his highlights by clicking on the photo:

The Ivy League basketball exodus continues with Ancient Eight scoring leader Mike Smith announcing on Friday he is transferring to Michigan for his final season as a grad transfer. Yale's Jordan Brunner, a 6-9 forward, also announced his new destination on Friday and will be a grad transfer at Alabama. Earlier last week Harvard guard Bryce Aiken announced for Seton Hall. Aiken's Crimson teammate Seth Towns is heading to Ohio State and Columbia's Patrick Tapé will grad transfer at Duke. Penn's Ryan Betley is still weighing his grad transfer options. Columbia's 6-5 guard Jack Forrest, meanwhile, is heading to St. Joseph's, where he will have three years of eligibility

While Dartmouth reserve guard Trevon Ary Turner, a onetime transfer from Weber State, has chosen to graduate early and will play elsewhere the Big Green won the transfer sweepstakes when sweet-shooting Brendan Barry mulled offers from a handful of major programs before opting to return to Dartmouth for a medical redshirt senior season.
