And The Award Goes To . . .


The Dartmouth football program capped spring with an understandably delayed banquet Thursday night at Memorial Field featuring the presentation of the program's annual awards.

THE AWARDS

EARL HAMILTON FRESHMAN AWARD – Freshman who has made the most outstanding contribution to the team: Sean Williams

JAKE CROUTHAMEL AWARD –  Underclassman who has made the most significant contribution to the success of the team on offense: Nick Schwitzgebel

KENNETH T. YOUNG AWARD – Underclassman who has made the most significant contribution to the success of the team on defense: Leonard St. Gourdin

DOTEN AWARD –  Sophomore who has made a significant contribution to the success of the team: Braden Mullen

EARL HAMILTON AWARD –  Senior who has displayed a sincere friendliness and sense of humor plus appreciation of the outdoor: Noah Roper

HEWITT AWARD – Combines athletic performance with academic achievement: Paxton Scott

STUBBY PEARSON AWARD – Underclassman combining character, leadership on campus, high academic standing and performance on the playing field: Jace Henry, Macklin Ayers

MANNERS MAKYTH MAN AWARD – Best conducted himself to the advantage of the college and displayed good manners in the sense of William Wickham's phrase, "Manners Makyth Man:" Josh Greene

REGGIE WILLIAMS AWARD – Through leadership in action and word has made Dartmouth a better place: Tyron Herring.

EXTRA POINT
Before leaving the tiny house yesterday I ventured outside to take a shower with the temperature having just escaped the 30s. Brrr, right? Not so much.

With blue sky above, deep green forest all around and steaming hot water pounding down it was absolutely w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l. I would spend another summer and fall at the off-the-grid tiny house simply for the shower. It's that good.
