It may say Connecticut after his name, but Dartmouth would have you remember that new Baltimore Ravens center Jake Guidone spent four years in Hanover, earning All-Ivy League honors for his play with the Big Green before grad transferring to Storrs.

Elsewhere in Big Green pro football news, Niko Lalos '20 had six tackles yesterday as his XFL season with the Seattle Sea Dragons came to an end with a 37-21 loss to the DC Defenders in the league’s North Division championship game. (LINK)
Lalos, who spent a couple of years with the New York Giants and most recently was on the New Orleans Saints practice squad, will now hope to find a new NFL home, with the Saints and Atlanta Falcons expected to be among his suitors.

Speaking of Dartmouth guys who can get after the quarterback, a story out of Canada lists Flo Orimolade '17 as one of the top-five defensive free agent signings in the CFL over the offseason. From the story (LINK):
After a breakout season with the Stampeders, the dynamic and talented Orimolade opted to join the Argos in free agency on a reported two-year, big money deal. At just 27, many look at Orimolade as one of the league’s highest upside players with his mix of power and speed off the edge.
2022 saw Orimolade post 37 tackles, six sacks, one interception, one forced fumble, and one defensive touchdown as part of Calgary’s front four. With Davis leaving for Hamilton in free agency, the Argonauts see the younger Orimolade as a long-term focal point and gave him a contract to match.

Still on the pro scene, the offensive lineman Matt Kaskey '19 and the Birmingham Stallions lost their first game after opening the USFL season with a pair of wins, falling to the New Orleans Breakers Saturday, 45-31.

No news about wide receiver/returner Drew Estrada '20 and the Houston Texans, but the SpoTrac site has some interesting numbers about his earning potential HERE.
#
Estrada signed a free agent deal with the Texans a year ago and the next class of Ivy League undrafted free agents is taking shape. Here's what the various online databases show:
• Harvard defensive lineman Truman Jones to the Chiefs
• Harvard (and then Notre Dame) defensive lineman Chris Smith to the Lions
• Harvard (and then Butler) wide receiver Tyler Adams to the Colts
• Princeton defensive end/linebacker Matthew Jester to the Rams
• Princeton offensive lineman Henry Byrd to the Broncos
Also . . .
• Harvard running back Aidan Borguet to the Chiefs for a tryout
• Brown running back Allen Smith to the Chiefs for a tryout
Editor's Note: It's unclear which, if any, of the five players in the first list might be minicamp invitees rather than have contracts.

This is a fun one for Dartmouth followers. The Seahawks signed undrafted receiver Jake Bobo, son of Mike Bobo '92, one of the Big Green's all-time pass catchers. The younger Bobo had a solid career at Duke before grad transferring last year to UCLA where he led the Bruins with 57 catches for 817 yards and seven touchdowns in his only season.
