Portal Musing

Senior wide receiver Isaac Boston lost his freshman season when COVID canceled Ivy League football and missed his junior season with injury. With multiple seasons of eligibility remaining, he has been in the portal as a grad transfer and last month posted that he was an Ivy League Mid Year Grad Transfer still looking for a home!

Turns out the plea worked:

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Boston had 16 catches in nine games last year for 182 yards (second on the team) and 35 receptions for 354 yards and one touchdown in his two seasons.

Speaking of the transfer portal, former Dartmouth defensive lineman Shane Cokes was asked after Colorado's season-ending loss if he was returning next fall. His answer: "Still trying to figure it out," although he said he's leaning toward a return.

EXTRA POINT
No sun this morning but we actually saw it yesterday for the first time in 10 days or so and it was glorious. This was the view from the top of the hill we live on, alas with snow on the White Mountains but none at our altitude.
