Although Memorial Day Weekend is early this year the weather in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont has been absolutely gorgeous, with daytime temperatures in the upper 70's and clear blue skies.
It would have been a perfect weekend to pack up our tent and sleeping bags and find peace and quiet in remote Northern New England.
But out of an abundance of caution in these uncertain times, I pitched the idea of stay-at-home camping to Mrs. BGA and she was totally onboard. And so we unpacked our biggest tent, pulled out our sleeping bags and camped right here in our side yard. Silly? Maybe.
But we've cooked out, played Scrabble, read our books and enjoyed a couple of unplugged days (except for bringing you your morning dose of BGA Daily). There's more of the same on tap today capped by a dinner of campfire chicken.
