Half Student Body In The Fall

Monday afternoon headline from Dartmouth News:

Dartmouth Announces Plans for the Coming Academic Year

And this:
A decision on whether there will be fall season athletic competition rests with the Ivy League. A league announcement is expected next month.
Find a Q&A about the fall HERE, including this:
Assigned PrioritiesFALL: Classes of 2024 and 2022
WINTER: Mixed classes based on preferences and availability
SPRING: Class of 2021 and Class of 2024
SUMMER: Class of 2023 and Class of 2022 members who deferred their sophomore summer residence requirement to 2021 summer
And this . . .
The majority of instruction this fall will be remote, even for students on campus.
Green Alert Take: This is speculative but should a relatively full complement of freshmen and juniors elect to be on campus it would leave precious few spots available to the senior and sophomore classes to fill out athletic rosters. That, of course, is in the event there are athletics this fall. Football, soccer and other teams would be left to compete with other special interests for those spots available in the fall quarter.

Green Alert Take II: Maybe I'm wrong but reading down the Q&A, even if there are relatively complete rosters of athletes on campus, it's hard to see how it's possible to adhere to the rules being put in place and still hold practices, meetings and games.
