After a slow start identifying names in the next Dartmouth recruiting class a second has surfaced.
Announcing his decision at noon yesterday via Twitter was Alex Geraci, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound tight end/defensive end from Cornwall, N.Y. and Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey. His announcement came in the same week as that of Sean Harmon, another tight end/defensive end from Seattle. (LINK)
Prior to choosing Dartmouth Geraci named his final five schools of Air Force, Army, Fordham, Bucknell and Dartmouth, which offered him on May 20. Here's what he tweeted after this decision:

We've all known Dartmouth did not open Hanover Country Club last spring and subsequently announced the golf course, which had been operating for more than 100 years, would be closed permanently.
With the pandemic keeping most of us away from campus, the loss of HCC was something we read about but perhaps didn't fully appreciate. It really hit home for me yesterday when this picture showed up on my computer:
That's the now-abandomed 18th green at the former Hanover Country Club, which used to look like this in happier times:
