Picture This

I take no credit for finding this picture ;-) It comes to you thanks to the sharp eyes of a loyal BGA subscriber Dartmouth football supporter.

Find the photo HERE.

This is for everyone out there who puts a little too much stock in the recruiting classes compiled by the ranking services. What follows is a list of Dartmouth's top recruits since 2000 per 247Sports (with positions as listed by the service). LINK

Take a little time with the list and then check out some of the names that are missing:

Dartmouth standouts not making the 247Sports cut . . .

• OL Matt Kaskey, now with the Carolina Panthers

• DL Niko Lalos, now with the New York Giants

• CB Vernon Harris, who spent a year on the Kansas City Chiefs injured reserve

• OL Jacob Flores, who was on the Green Bay Packers practice squad

• S Charlie Miller, Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad

• DL Flo Orimolade, Calgary Stampeders

• DE Anthony Gargiulo, Calgary Stampeders

• RB Ryder Stone, Montreal Alouettes

• S Garrett Waggoner, Winnipeg Blue Bombers

• RB Nick Schwieger, All-America, all-time Dartmouth rushing leader

• DB Shawn Ahuhoff, All-America

• LB Jack Traynor, Bushnell Cup winner, three-time All-Ivy first team

Green Alert Take: There are a lot more names that could have been mentioned like RB Dominick Pierre, WR Ryan McManus, LB Josh Dooley, QB Jack Heneghan and on and on.

EXTRA POINT

Good news out of Colorado where That Certain Dartmouth '14 got her COVID-19 testing result back and came up negative. She had been quarantined after giving a co-worker whose car was in the shop a ride home and the co-worked subsequently testing positive.

With TCD'14 having a full green light, look for that list of unconquered Colorado Fourteeners to continue shrinking.
