Slim pickings today.
From the New York Daily News following the team's intrasquad scrimmage:
"Defensive lineman Niko Lalos came back out to practice long snaps."
Green Alert Take: Dartmouth coaches regularly talked about Niko Lalos as a longsnapper and while he worked at it some in practice I can't ever recall him doing it in a game. Tough to get on the field first with the way Graydon Peterson snapped and then Grant Jaffe. With the retirement of Brown grad Zak DeOssie, who handled the duties for the Jints for 13 years, New York is in need of a new Ivy League snapper. If Lalos shows he can be at least the backup snapper it won't hurt his chances of sticking around.

EXTRA POINT
After spending a half of Sunday at the Gettysburg battlefield (highly recommended) we called it a night in St. Albans, WV, just south of Charleston. Once again, the fine folks at Cracker Barrel let us set up in their parking lot. (It's only fitting given that it appears their billboards have a VW bus down in the corner.)
Today we zip through Kentucky on the way to a quick visit with my brother and his family just outside of Louisville, and then it's on to Colorado for a week with That Certain Dartmouth '14.
