Dartmouth offensive lineman Jake Guidone (BIO) is the interview subject in this hour-long video podcast. An honorable-mention All-Ivy League tight end in 2019 despite not catching a pass, he flirted last spring with a grad transfer before opting to return to Hanover this fall to play at his more natural left guard position. At the 33:40 mark of the podcast he offers thoughts on getting some film at guard while finishing out his Dartmouth career, then potentially playing a sixth season at that position as a grad transfer at a bigger school such as Boston College with the dream of eventually getting a shot at pro football.

I'll be taking part in the Ivy League football media day this morning and hope to hear from the coaches a few specifics about anticipated strengths and challenges of their teams that I can share in the BGA Premium preview series. Last night's look at New Hampshire concluded the non-conference portion of the series, which continues tonight with a look at the Brown Bears. Check out the first three Dartmouth opponent previews HERE.
I'd expect a few comments from the coaches today about the annual Ivy League media poll that finished this way:
1. Princeton 113 points (8 first-place votes)
2. Yale 104 (6)
3. Dartmouth 88 (1)
4. Harvard 87
5. Penn 61
6. Brown 52
7. Columbia 44 (1)
8. Cornell 27
In case you are wondering how much stock to put in the poll, here's how the 2019 poll looked . . .
1. Yale 119 (9)
2. Dartmouth 111 (2)
3. Princeton 107 (4)
4. Harvard 93 (1)
5. Penn 67
6. Columbia 61 (1)
7. Cornell 29
8. Brown 24
2. Dartmouth 111 (2)
3. Princeton 107 (4)
4. Harvard 93 (1)
5. Penn 67
6. Columbia 61 (1)
7. Cornell 29
8. Brown 24
. . . And here's how things turned out the last time the Ivy Leaguers were on the field:
