Still Another

Another day, another new name.

To the list of high school seniors Tweeting their intention to continue their football and academic careers at Dartmouth  add the name of Chris Corbo, a 6-foot-5, 215-pound wide receiver/tight end from West Essex High School and North Caldwell, N.J. He Tweeted his commitment HERE.

Find videos of him in action HERE.

Per 247Sports he also drew interest from Harvard, Georgetown and Fordham. (LINK)

At one point Corbo was on Pitt's radar as this story explains: LINK

This is fun stuff. From a Baylor football writer's takeaways after the Bears' 24-14 loss at No. 19 Oklahoma State (LINK):

BAYLOR'S SWISS ARMY KNIFE: In addition to being a great kick return threat at Dartmouth, grad transfer receiver Drew Estrada has the strength, flexibility and speed to be a blocker, runner and receiver. In Saturday's game, he hauled in six passes for 88 yards, including a 37-yarder in the opening series and a 40-yarder in the second quarter. "There's a real strong competitiveness with him," (coach Dave) Aranda said. "And I think his care factor is very strong. So, we're going to see more and more of him. I think the key for him is to stay healthy."

Watch the first of Estrada's catches here:

Then scrub forward to 3:55 to see the second and hear the color commentator say that Estrada, "has just been ballin' today."

EXTRA POINT
I'm not a Facebook person and have to admit I smirked a little bit thinking about those who can't live without it having withdrawal pains yesterday while the social network was down. It could never happen of course, but I can't help but think it would be healthy if once every couple of weeks Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the rest went dark for six hours or so and people actually had to talk to each other face-to-face.
