The News Tribune out in the Pacific Northwest published an exhaustive list of players from Washington on Division I football teams this fall. Every Ivy League team but Penn is on the list. Dartmouth leads the way with four players from the Evergreen State (LINK).

Dartmouth's Washington representatives:
• Senior wide receiver Jonny Barrett
• Junior linebacker Trevon Erickson
• Sophomore tight end Sean Harmon
• Sophomore quarterback Jackson Proctor
Ivy Players from Washington:
Dartmouth 4
Columbia 3
Harvard 2
Yale 2
Princeton 1
Brown 1
Cornell 1

Former Dartmouth receiver RJ Brandon gets a quick mention as a positional analysis of the UMass football team gets around to the wide receivers. (LINK)

It's cut day in the NFL (LINK). Former Dartmouth defensive end Niko Lalos '20 should know his fate with the New Orleans Saints by mid-afternoon. Lalos appeared in six games with the New York Giants in 2020 before spending all of last year on the team's practice squad.

The best scenario for former  Big Green wide receiver Drew Estrada '20, who missed all of the Houston Texans preseason with a leg issue, might be a spot on the NFL's version of an injured reserve list. Former corner Vernon Harris '16 spent a year on that kind of list with the Kansas City Chiefs when he was hurt after signing an undrafted free agent contract.

Princeton has finally posted its updated roster and at first glimpse it's jarring to see 43 seniors, 15 juniors, 38 sophomores and 27 freshmen, but that's a little misleading.

Given the limit on the size of recruiting classes a good number of Princeton's juniors have reclassified as sophomores. Those who reclassified will be listed as seniors in two years but will, in effect, be COVID Super Seniors.

The Analyst's Craig Haley compiled his FCS championship predictions and reprises his pick of Harvard. Among other things he lists what schools he expects to be playoff qualifiers.* (LINK)

EXTRA POINT
BGA Daily comes to you today from the car dealership in White River Junction, Vt., where our EV is having a system update downloaded. I can't say for sure because I'm not what you would call mechanically inclined, but I would venture to say our '84 VW Westfalia camper never had a system update. A tuneup? Yes.
