From the Dartmouth release LINK:
The media have picked Dartmouth to finish exactly where it ended the year just once during Teevens’ second stint at the helm, that being his first in 2005 (seventh) … this is the first tie atop the poll since 2017 (Harvard and Princeton) and fourth since 2000 (Harvard and Yale in 2008; Cornell and Yale in 2000).
For what it's worth, I'm a voter in the poll and mine looked a little different. I'll post my poll on BGA Premium after the Ivy League media day. If you haven't yet signed up, just another reason to get your subscription going in the next few days. ;-)
Green Alert Take: The big surprise for me is Columbia being picked a somewhat distant fifth. I fully expected the Lions to be third and wouldn't have been shocked to see them chosen second. Perhaps the least surprising area of the poll was 6-7-8.
Green Alert Take II: Maybe I shouldn't have been surprised at how the poll came out. The Ivy voters like to predict how last year's race turned out. This year all they did was flip Princeton and Harvard, two teams that should have been tied last year.
Green Alert Take III: It doesn't help that not every team has their rosters updated and we can't be sure which players are returning as fifth-year seniors.
