Calgary Stampeders defensive lineman Folarin Orimolade sacks Edmonton Elks quarterback Taylor Cornelius at McMahon Stadium in Calgary on Monday, Sept. 5, 2022..
If you were to go through the list of seven defensive linemen the Stamps fielded against the Elks in Monday’s 26-18 win, every single one of them had at least one big, disruptive play.“Everybody chipped in,” said Stamps defensive end Folarin Orimolade. “We’re a destructive group, I think we’re one of the best in the league, if not the best. I think we showed it today.”It’s probably easiest to simply list off what each d-lineman did.Orimolade had two sacks.
For the record, Orimolade finished with five tackles, second on the team. Through 11 games he's fourth on the team with 27 tackles to go with four sacks, one interception, one touchdown and one forced fumbled.

As expected, yesterday's posting regarding the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine's top 100 Dartmouth athletes of all time brought a few emails and a few digital howls.
Among the football players who emailers felt deserved mention were the coach himself, Buddy Teevens, who won the Bushnell Trophy while quarterbacking Dartmouth to an Ivy League title and then skated with the Big Green in the Frozen Four, three-time All-Ivy League football defensive end Tom Csatari '74, and all-everything Peter Lavery '83, who won 11 letters in football, hockey and baseball.
And digging through the BGA Daily files I pulled this up about someone who was somehow overlooked:
When talk gets around to great athletes ever to attend Dartmouth Gene Ryzewicz '68 is always in the conversation. As a football halfback who battled injury throughout his career he averaged 7.5 yards per carry as a sophomore and junior, before switching to quarterback and leading the team in scoring as a senior.
On the baseball field he was an All-America second baseman who still holds the school's all-time record for stolen bases and led the squad both in batting average and RBIs as a senior.
He didn't play basketball at Dartmouth but set a Western Massachusetts tournament record with a 51-point game.
For good measure, the Berkshire Beacon reminds us that as a golfer he competed in the U.S. and British Senior Opens.
