Homecoming is in the books:

Here's your weekly look at the Sagarin Ratings, including the change from a week before:

129 - Princeton - up 6
164 - Harvard - up 8
165 - Yale - up 10
168 - Penn - down 7
188 - Dartmouth - down 3
201 - Columbia - down 3
202 - Brown - up 14
209 - Cornell - no change

For what it is worth, Sagarin has Princeton as a 16½-point favorite over Dartmouth, the same as the Wise Guys.

Massey sees Princeton defeating Dartmouth, 24-13, with 81 percent confidence.

This is interesting:

Ifesinachukwu is just the latest Ivy Leaguer whose entry into the transfer portal has gone public. He joins Cornell defensive lineman Max Lundeen, Columbia kicker Alex Felkins, and Cornell defensive back Demetrius Harris on a list posted on The Portal Report. (LINK

Green Alert Take: Given that the Ivy League does not allow graduate students to compete in NCAA athletics and there isn't a lot of clarity around the Ivies regarding which players have potential medical redshirt seasons, we don't know which – if any – of these players would have an opportunity to return to their schools next year. The COVID Super Senior opportunity only makes knowing who can come back if they choose that much more confusing.

The Yale Daily News has a story about a mixup regarding the sale of student tickets for The Game at Harvard on Nov. 19. From the story (LINK):

“It was awful,” Josh Donovan ’26 said. “We spent two hours on this website before we got tickets. I skipped class to do this.”

And . . .

“It’s unfortunate that there was no advanced notice given about tickets being released,” said Agastya Rana ’24, events coordinator for the Yale College Council. “The primary way most people heard about it was word-of-mouth, which definitely shouldn’t happen for an official school event.”

USA Lacrosse Magazine has a story headlined, Josie Harper's Lasting Legacy as an Advocate for Women's Sports about the former Dartmouth athletic director and women's lacrosse head coach. Find the story HERE.

EXTRA POINT
Our Vermont hillside home is in West Newbury, an unincorporated "village" in Newbury, a town with a population of 2,293 spread over 64 square miles. I don't think the folks in the video below would necessarily visit West Newbury, which Wikipedia describes as "west-southwest of the somewhat larger village of Newbury." In case you are keeping score, that "somewhat larger" Newbury village is listed as having a population of 447. ;-)
