Two Dartmouth grads who played their first season of FBS football as grad transfers last fall are preparing for their second, and their bios are now online.
Here's what Syracuse has written about Isaiah Johnson (LINK):
Appeared in all 13 games with six starts at cornerback ... Made 53 tackles, a pass breakup and an interception on the season ... Was also a key contributor on special teams, serving as the team's leading tackler on special teams plays (6) and leading tackler on kickoffs (4) ... Key piece of a defensive unit that finished in the season 14th nationally in passing defense (184.8) and 21st in total defense (328.6) ... Made his Syracuse debut with a pair of tackles against Louisville (9/3) ... Made a solo tackle at UConn (9/10) ... Made five tackles in the win over NC State (10/15). EXTRA POINT
Rocky Mountain National Park has a "timed entry" permit system for visitation and we were fortunate last evening to score the opportunity to revisit that park today. I wasn't a fan of timed entry until we spent a day at Utah's Zion National Park and rode double shuttle busses jammed with people like the New York City subway and had to pull to the side on a hiking trail several times to let groups of 20-plus people tromp by.
Up early to get to Rocky Mountain this morning, I snapped this picture of sunrise from Sister BGA's deck. We're headed east after today and will miss this part of the country.
