Brown 30, Penn 26
The list of five one-loss teams in the Ivy League heading into Week Seven of the season will shrink by two this afternoon after one fell by the wayside last night. The long-struggling Brown defense recorded three interceptions, with the last in the end zone in the final minute allowing the Bears (4-3, 2-2) to hold on and join Dartmouth as the only teams to beat Penn this fall.
Jake Willcox completed 26-of-37 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns and carried nine times for 40 yards to lead Brown. The Quakers' Aidan Sayin was 32-of-55 for 322 yards and two touchdowns but the hat trick of interceptions proved costlly. Jared Richardson, who caught 17 passes for Penn (5-2, 2-2) last week, had 12 grabs for 122 and a touchdown in this one. A crowd of 4,735 watched the nationally televised game.

EXTRA POINT
A group of seven college-aged kids joyfully greeted Griff when they were finishing their hike just as Mrs. BGA and I were starting up the trail at about two miles from our Vermont hillside home yesterday afternoon. Turns out we may see them in Cambridge today. Wanna guess where they go to school? And no, it's not Harvard.
