It is something Mrs. BGA and I regularly comment on when we are on road trips. Why in the world would someone spending $50K, $60K, $70K on a car have a brain cramp and decide to buy it in that seriously ugly color? On the other hand, there's no accounting for taste. If you are of a certain again you may remember that Harvest Gold, Avocado Green, Teal and Cocoa appliances once dominated kitchens. Let's hope the car colors wear a little more gracefully than those ranges and dishwashers and fridges.
