Final Looks

The Dartmouth does a nice job with a story on the Big Green's win over Princeton on Friday night HERE.

TigerBlog's focus is on the start of the college basketball season but read down and he poses this question (LINK):

(W)hat is it about Dartmouth's Memorial Stadium? It's a House of Horrors for Princeton. The Tigers haven't won there since 2009, and the game Friday was as frustrating as any of those.

Princeton trailed 10-0 after 10 minutes and then rallied twice to take leads of 14-10 and 21-17 before a pair of late Dartmouth field goals ruined it for the Tigers. It was one of those games that as it ends, it's hard to consider how it got away.

Should Massey be right, Dartmouth would earn a share of the Ivy League title with Harvard and Yale.

If you have access to the ACC network, and can drag yourself away from that riveting Jets-Chargers Monday Night Football game, you can catch the action at 9 tonight. EXTRA POINT
We finally got our "back 40" field cut down yesterday. Folks from Connecticut bought the field across the way with plans to build a vacation home that takes advantage of the wonderful views here on our hillside. Turns out they own a landscaping business and happened to be here for the past few days with a tractor capable of clearing a field and a son who didn't mind making a few dollars. That turned out to be a win-win.
