It's early signing day and while the Ivy League does not "sign" players, some will take part in ceremonies. If you have or see photos of Dartmouth's "signees" send 'em along via that box over to the right.

EXTRA POINT
After missing a day on the mountain because of all the rain, I decided to get a quick hike in late yesterday afternoon. I figured the trail would probably be a bit messy with much of the snow washed away and wasn't sure what to wear on my feet. That would be the least of my problems.
Mud season is usually at the end of winter but this time, I discovered, it was at the start. I was halfway to the trailhead when I realized I might – might – make it that far, but I'd never make it back given the deep ruts and oatmeal consistency of the road. At that point I backed the car up 200 yards or so until I found a place to make a K-turn on the narrow, tree-lined road. I did make it home but only by choosing which ruts looked less dangerous, gunning the car through the worst areas in hopes that inertia would keep me going and somehow straightening the car again without stopping after it slide almost 90 degrees sideways in the muck.
I will not be hiking today but I do need to get the mail. If I turn right out of our driveway it is 1.5 miles from our house to the post office. The road is dirt until the final third of a mile.
If I turn left out of our driveway it's just a quarter mile until I hit pavement. It's a total of four miles to the post office if I want to stay on blacktop the rest of the way.
After what happened yesterday I'll be turning left out of the driveway this morning.
