Tight End U?

Be sure to stop by BGA - The Sequel tonight for a wrap-up of Dartmouth's spring football practice and a bit of a look head with coach Sammy McCorkle. A reminder that there's no paywall, so that story and site are available to all.

Among other subjects, McCorkle shares thoughts about tight end, a position where he believes the Big Green will shine yet again next fall.

Former Dartmouth tight end JJ Jones '21 loves football. Although he earned a mechanical engineering degree in Hanover he's not done with the game quite yet. After spending the 2022 season as a grad transfer at New Mexico State, he's headed back to the gridiron, albeit a smaller version:

Speaking of Dartmouth tight ends, there are 34 players coming and going at Nevada, where former Big Green tight end Jace Henry will be in uniform this fall.

Henry and another TE from the University of Florida will vie for the chance to replace a tight end who departed Reno for Washington this year. Henry is one of 22 incoming members of the Wolf Pack. (LINK)

EXTRA POINT
I've written this before but if they put me in charge, every high school in the country would require students to pass a financial literacy class to graduate. Come to think of it, if they required one semester of general automotive study we could have avoided this scene yesterday at our Vermont hillside home:

That's right. Our beloved 1984 Westfalia pop-top camper is headed back to the VW whisperer. Fortunately we were able to jump it once to get it back home, but at that point it was game over. Even a jump wouldn't get it going again, and so it's headed to northern Vermont for another round of TLC.
