Picture This

A Nevada TV station ran a story under the headline A look at Nevada Football's tight end group and it mentioned just one player. That would be Dartmouth grad transfer Jace Henry. The piece had some fun with Henry's mechanical engineering degree from Dartmouth, but it didn't include a whole lot beyond this:

Listed at 6′4″269 pounds Henry wants to make the most out of his final year of college football.

“My strong suit is being a blocker,” he said. “But I’m definitely a threat in the pass game. My biggest thing is being a mismatch for whichever position I’m going against.”

Henry has apparently embraced the short football pants concept, as show in this screen grab:

Henry may have been a new face at Nevada but he probably recognized another one pretty quickly in the Wolfpack locker room. Former teammate Yomi Babalola, a Dartmouth linebacker, has a twin brother named Kola Babalola who happens to be a wide receiver at Nevada.

EXTRA POINT
Headed out to a wedding at Stratton Mountain today. Before hopping in the shower and then the car I snapped the picture below out the window of the BGA World Headquarters. Tropical Storm Debby has stormed through Vermont and it looks as if it will be a beautiful day for the service atop the Mountain.

The field looks pretty neat, huh?
