The Valley News has a game story behind the paywall HERE

The PressReader has a story more from the Yale perspective HERE.

Check out the Yale Daily News story HERE.

The Yale Football Blog doesn't have a recap at this point but has more than two dozen comments that make for interesting reading. Find it all HERE.

UnderDog Dynasty, in a recap of interesting FCS games, has three paragraphs under the headline, Dartmouth Outlasts Yale in OT to Stay Unbeaten HERE.

Dartmouth was rubbing elbows with some good company in a column by ESPN staff writer Bill Connelly. From the piece (LINK):

Arguing fills the offseason calendar like nothing else, but then the games start, and we get to bask in the absurd drama of a random college football Saturday, and the stakes and spreadsheets and everything else just fade away. We get to watch dueling field stormings, as LSU wins a huge game against Ole Miss, and Georgia Southern wins what was, on paper, an afterthought game against Marshall. We watch the game of the week, Oregon vs. Ohio State, live up to all the hype while what seemed like a completely uncompelling contest, Illinois vs. Purdue, surpasses it. We watch Penn State, Purdue, Georgia Southern and Dartmouth pull off huge comebacks. We watch a Boise State running back continuing to move himself up the Heisman list.

And finally, can you imagine the snapper on an FBS football team running downfield and reaching over and behind the helmet of a defender for a touchdown reception on a double-pass featuring two quarterbacks? That's what Penn State tight end Tyler Warren did on a day when he had 17 catches for 224 yards, a first-down run on a trick play and a pass completion in addition to snapping the ball on one play. If you haven't seen it, this is a pretty imaginative and daring play:

EXTRA POINT
Last night while watching the network news I found myself muting commercial after commercial advertising prescription drugs for senior citizens with health issues. Pretty depressing.

Given that The Weather Channel has been referred to as reality television for senior citizens I shudder to think what they might be advertising. ;-)
