BGA Overtime posted a follow from Dartmouth's win over Central Connecticut last night. Look for a half dozen observations from the game in tonight's edition of Your Mileage May Vary.
Be forewarned, The Optimist and The Pessimist will be stopping by tomorrow. Find it all on BGA Overtime.

How hard did the Central Connecticut corner "bite" on Dartmouth receiver Ky'Dric Fisher's stop-and-go that resulted in the 50-yard winning touchdown pass from Grayson Saunier? Fifteen feet's worth (or five yards in football-speak ;-) Check it out in this quick video from Dartmouth athletic communications:

In a column offering observations from each FCS conference, The Analyst's Craig Haley had this to say about the Ivy League (LINK):
In the first season of the Ivy champion going to the FCS playoffs, it’s only right that Harvard, Dartmouth and Yale – picked 1, 2, 3, respectively, in the league’s preseason poll – are off to 2-0 starts.
Harvard, behind fast-starting QB Jaden Craig, has outscored its opponents 100-14; Dartmouth has already defeated two 2024 playoff qualifiers (intrastate rival New Hampshire and CCSU); and Yale’s Jordan Pitsenberger has rushed for three TDs in back-to-back wins.

Curious about how this week's opponent fared on Saturday? The Daily Pennsylvanian writes about Penn's 44-30 loss to the undefeated Lehigh Mountain Hawks under the headline Despite a loss to Lehigh, Penn football’s passing game was on point. Find the story HERE.

The NFL announced yesterday that Bad Bunny will headline Super Bowl LX halftime show.
Green Alert Take: That's a good thing for me, but not for the reason you might think. See, I don't leave the couch during Super Bowl commercials, so this year's halftime show will give me plenty of time to grab some snacks and, uh, take care of business. I only hope I don't miss a good commercial while my focus is elsewhere. ;-)

EXTRA POINT
For those following along, Mrs. BGA and I were in the renaissance downtown of White River Junction yesterday to see a performance of the musical Come From Away. When it comes to musicals, I usually prefer those with songs I already know, but the Northern Stage production was terrific – even though I'd heard only bits and pieces of the score before, if at all. There's a full performance of the show available online, but for an Apple TV+ trailer that will give you a sense of the novelty in how it is staged, click HERE.
