It worked so well with one defensive tackle from Dartmouth for Duke, the Blue Devils got another one.
Dakota Quiñonez committed to Duke on Friday afternoon, a source told Devils Illustrated.
Duke has landed several impact players from the Ivy League, thanks in large part to the league’s rule that graduate transfers cannot participate in athletics. One such player was Josiah Green this past season — also a defensive tackle from Dartmouth.
Green finished his lone season in Durham with 37 tackles, including 3½ sacks (second on the team), along with three breakups.
According to Pro Football Focus, the Moore, S.C. native is an elite run-defender. The analytics website graded him at 91.6 for his run defense. It also had him credited with 38 tackles (30 solo) and only two misses. Quiñonez tied for the team lead with 27 run-stops.

Speaking of Duke, the Blue Devils reportedly have a commitment from Penn wide receiver Jared Richardson, and now Yale receiver Nico Brown is planning a visit per his social media.
As in the case of the defensive line, Duke has seen Ivy Leaguers can contribute at that level. The leading receiver in the ACC last fall was Harvard grad transfer Cooper Barkate, who had 1,106 yards and seven touchdowns through the air in his first season with Duke. He has one more year of eligibility.

And speaking of Josiah Green, his twin brother Micah has found an interesting new home. A linebacker who had 76 tackles as a senior, Micah Green was set to play for St. Thomas last fall but was physically unable. He went back into the transfer portal and will instead be playing for Merrimack this fall per his social media (LINK).
That means he will be back at Buddy Teevens Stadium on Oct. 17 when the Warriors come to town.

EXTRA POINT
It's a little hard to tell in this pic, but between my trips up and down the mountain and a few intrepid hikers giving it a shot, the route up to the peak on my regular trail is a lot easier now than it was the first few days after our last accumulating snow.
Here's the reward at the top:
