Another Dartmouth player has chosen his graduate transfer destination in the FBS.
First it was tight end Chris Corbo choosing to spend his final year of collegiate eligibility at Georgia Tech. Now it is running back DJ Crowther, who will play next year for the University of South Florida Bulls. Here's the school's announcement of his commitment:

The On3 site Jackets Online (LINK) has a brief Q&A with Chris Corbo about his move to Georgia Tech. Among the 6-5, 250-pound tight end's answers:
“I chose Georgia Tech because of what Coach (Brent) Key and the rest of the staff are building as well as my relationship with (tight ends) coach (Nathan) Brock. Coach Brock has been very successful developing tight ends and putting them in the NFL. The rest of the staff was awesome to meet with and their visions and values align with how I play the game."
And . . .
“I feel extremely prepared and ready to play against the ACC competition, and I couldn’t be more excited to do so. I feel that my work in preparation to this point has led me to this position, and after a full offseason in Atlanta, I will feel that much more confident.”
And . . .
“For the fans who haven’t seen me play or compete yet, I would say I’m a versatile tight end who will be one of the biggest competitors on the field. Someone who is confident in both the run and pass game. I play with energy, and I hope for it to be contagious on the field and in the stands. But I also want to be a vital part of the GT community and fanbase. Excited to win in Bobby Dodd this year."
Green Alert Take: He's also a pretty good postgame quote. ;-)

EXTRA POINT
I occasionally make purchases on eBay, and even sold a couple of items on the platform in the past handful of years. After putting up a posting almost on a whim several months ago I got an email forwarded from eBay last week that someone had made an offer on what we were selling, and we quickly accepted.
That got me thinking about things sitting around the BGA World Headquarters that never get used. One is an old digital video camera that I haven't pulled out of a drawer in several years. A search on eBay found there are people still buying this exact model, so I charged up a battery for the camera, and shot a few scenes to make sure it still works, which it does. Then I put it right back in the drawer where I found it because I really like it. I don't use it, but I like it. So there!
