See You There

Dartmouth football practice kicks off this Wednesday with the first full session on Memorial Field from 2:30-4:30 p.m. With the Sept. 16 opener against Stetson in Florida, the Big Green is eschewing the usual morning practices held at the start of camp in favor of afternoon practices to acclimate to the heat.

How did a half-dozen Mobile Virtual Player units end up on practice field in Sasakatoon, Sask.? It doesn't hurt that Saskatoon businessman/philanthropist David Dube, who bought the motorized tackling dummies, is married to a Dartmouth alum.

The Saskatoon StarPhoenix takes a look at how the MVP is being received and even brings up its potential use on the ice north of the border.
