Scheier comes to Lubbock from Ohio State. Prior to his time with the Buckeyes he coached at Wake Forest, Bowling Green, Lehigh, Princeton and Columbia as well as at Dartmouth, where he spent the undefeated 1996 season helping out with the secondary.
