In case you were wondering, my Heisman Trophy ballot matched the results. I voted Jameis Winston first, AJ McCarron second and Jordan Lynch third. For what it's worth, I would have had Andrew Williams fourth if I could have.

Congratulations to old friend Bobby Clark on leading Notre Dame to the NCAA soccer championship with a 2-1 win over Maryland. You can get a sense who the beloved former Dartmouth coach is by watching the first couple of minutes of the Notre Dame postgame press conference here.(Editor's note: In the interest of full disclosure I should probably tell you I was working at Dartmouth and was on one of the committees that interviewed Bobby before he was offered the job. We all walked out of the interview absolutely convinced he was the coach we wanted.)
When Bobby was leaving Dartmouth a huge crowd turned out at Leede Arena to fete him. I can still remember the legions of elementary school-aged kids who showed up and the many tears they shed saying farewell to someone who made everyone he met, regardless of their age or their importance, feel like an old friend.

We've got a foot of snow on the ground, our plow driver is smiling from ear-to-ear with Christmas bills around the corner and the temperature could hit 12 below tonight. Yup, winter is coming ;-)
